What this notice covers

Cookies are small values a website can store in your browser and send back with later requests. Local storage and session storage keep values on this browser for the website to use. ADVA uses these tools for account access, private work, device preferences and selected drafts. They are separate from personal information saved in the account database.

Essential account and private-work access

Supabase authentication uses browser local storage to maintain an account session and refresh sign-in when authorised. Sign out when using a shared device. Session length also depends on the authentication configuration and security actions; this notice does not promise a fixed expiry period.

The essential adva_work_access cookie holds a private-portfolio session after a valid access code is accepted. It is protected from ordinary page-script access and expires with that access session. Use Lock work to end the portfolio session; this is separate from signing out of a workspace account. Blocking essential storage can prevent these features from working.

Drafts and interface choices

Some workspace preferences and unfinished edits are scoped to your account and saved in local or session storage. An intended workspace destination can also be remembered briefly while you sign in. A project idea passed from the guided assistant to the brief uses session storage.

An enquiry attempt may keep a random request reference, a one-way fingerprint and its original creation time in session storage for no more than 24 hours. The record excludes the name, email and brief, does not extend its lifetime when retried, and is cleared after confirmed delivery. It allows the exact unchanged submission to be checked safely after a connection failure or reload.

The freelance application offers an optional Save on this device choice. The saved copy is cleared at its two-hour limit while the application page is open and running; your open form can remain available. If the page is closed or cannot run, the age is checked when it next opens and expired progress is then discarded. Turn device saving off, use Clear saved application or clear site data to remove saved progress from this browser. These actions do not delete a submitted profile or enquiry.

Optional first-party performance measurement

Optional performance measurement stays off unless you allow it. When browser storage is available, the adva.privacy.v1 local-storage entry remembers your choice for 180 days on this device. If it cannot be stored, the choice applies only to the current page. Cookie preferences in the footer lets you reopen the choice; declining or withdrawing permission stops further optional performance reports without blocking the site.

When allowed, reports contain only a random event reference, the LCP, INP or CLS measurement name and value, a broad route group and a mobile or desktop category. The measurement payload excludes account identifiers, personal messages, full URLs, query strings and referrers. Ordinary network information needed by hosting and security providers is separate from this payload. Essential sanitised error diagnostics continue independently of this preference.

Advertising, social links and local assets

The current site has no advertising cookies, cross-site tracking or embedded third-party social-media SDKs. Social links open the separate provider's service. Montserrat font files and platform brand icons are served by ADVA's site rather than loaded from a third-party font or social SDK endpoint. Their open-source licence notices are retained with the site.

Clearing or blocking storage

You can manage cookies and site storage in your browser settings. Clearing this site's data can sign you out, remove remembered private-work access, reset preferences and discard local drafts. It does not delete server records or messages already sent. For those requests, see your data requests and the privacy notice.

If you clear the performance preference, the site returns to its default of no optional measurement until you choose again. Different devices and browser profiles have separate settings. Your browser's private mode or storage restrictions can also prevent a choice or draft from being remembered.
